Great Cool Summer Escape

We have been staying in VRBO rentals for 5 years now, this property was the best, everything looked very new, so clean, great location, walk downtown,garage a real plus for our bikes and paddle boards, we will return in the fall, would highly recommend.

Great place.

Great place to stay. Had enough beds for 8 people but there is also an air mattress in one of the closets (Not sure it works as we never inflated it, but is good to know for future guests). Someone came by every morning to check the hot tub which was always nice and ready after day full of activities.

Very enjoyable. Loved how large the unit is. Three floors. Beds were very comfortable. A little dated but everything is in good condition. Loved the jacuzzi on the back patio. We would stay here again.

Great Time in Frisco!

This vacation rental is perfect! It is in a quiet location of Frisco. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus and was well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The gas fireplace makes the living room very cozy and warm. My only complaint is that since this is managed by a realtor, you don't get the personal interaction like you do if you rent from an owner. Someone was supposed to come by and bring a packet of instructions for our stay, but no one did. We had to figure out the heating system which was confusing. I had to call the realtor's office to find out if there were any specific instructions regarding clean up before we checked out since there were no instructions. Not a very big deal in the long run, but just not a very personable experience. We accidentally left a Christmas gift behind and when I called the office (twice) to see if the cleaning people had turned it in, the gentleman never called me back. We have rented many houses around the country so we know what a difference it makes to rent directly from the owner. Hopefully, the realtor's office will step up their game. However, we would definitely stay here again. It is perfect and we could not have had a better time! It was very nice having a garage since we were there at Christmas and it had snowed a lot. I saw two moose right outside our patio! You can view a beautiful mountain outside the patio and master bedroom. Several ski areas are within a short distance. I highly recommend this condo.

Perfect Family Getaway Spot

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Val Chatelle. We knew based on the photos it would be a little dated, but that was okay. With the 3 levels, 3 bathrooms, private hot tub and private garage, we had a great time and had plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed cooking our meals at the vacation rental and liked the nearby park: Walter Byron Park. We also appreciated the close proximity to downtown Frisco and the neighborhood was very quiet.
