Downtown Breckenridge Condo

Location was the best part, Never thought walking around outside that I would see so much ice & snow on parking lots and sidewalks throughout the town I would have shoved and salted the entire area just like back at home “Safety Hazard”, The condo we stayed at still needs a lot more updating to it. The condo could be easily revamped to sleep 8 people and have room for enjoying the living room area better, the floors throughout the condo are dark and nasty looking, kitchen needs major updating, bathrooms need venting, all doors need replacing they are painted old doors, up grading the electric, need GFI outlets in all bathrooms by sinks and by the sink in the kitchen, (Standard Code for Housing), Lightning throughout condo is poor, need a bunch of can lights installed to up grade lightning & free up space with the standing lamps everywhere, kitchen is way too small and isn’t functional for the space it’s Crammed in, need a lot more kitchen utensils and amenities to cook with. Need to install flush ceiling fans and can lightning, install water proof flooring & have large door Mats inside of both doors for snowy shoes, need boot dryers by back door for ski season. Install a new wood fireplace chain fire screen sliders instead of the large Bulky temporary standing fire screen that takes up too much space. Install a large area infront of the fire place with tile for fire safety/proofing the flooring, 2 large couches for seating, smaller dinner table, install a spiral staircase to save space and utilize living area better. Replace leaking windows that have bad seals throughout out condo, make the master bedroom able to sleep 4 people instead of eating the space with a queen bed. Loved the condo, just the wasted area and design could be revamped and used way better. Easy upgrading can be done and revamping can be done at a minimal cost.

Location! Location! Location!

We had a fabulous stay here with a hop, skip and a jump to groceries and town. We did have a car that allowed us quick ride to the gondola so we did not really experience the shuttle. Unit was not super roomy in the living area for a group of 5 and furniture in sitting area not so comfy. Regardless, we made it work on our game nights while enjoying the fireplace! It was a tight space to try and do some remote work simultaneously with entertaining. Bedrooms were spacious, bathrooms small but not a problem. Having laundry was awesome in the unit!! We had a cute little deck that we wanted to enjoy but crazy thing was there was not shovel to be found. I used the dustpan that was in the unit. I would look into these units again in a heartbeat but maybe ask a few more questions about the living area. I rather a spacious hang out space than larger bedrooms. Again, the location was spectacular and we did pretty good always having parking in front of our unit. I would jump back in this location in a heartbeat!!!

My stay was excellent. Accommodations and location to Main Street in Breckenridge was perfect. Very easy check in with parking. My unit was very clean and had all the amenities required for a week stay. Hannah, the property manager was excellent to correspond with - very attentive, and the overall ease of doing business with Alpine Meadows was much appreciated.

Very good overall visit! Rooms were good sized and comfortable except the master bedroom mattress was a bit uncomfortable for us. My husband is large and the bed gave a lot. Some of the Wood for fireplace was too green to burn, I bought the 3 hour fire log to burn first. Kitchen was equipped with basic items, and there was plenty of linens and blankets. Outstanding cleanliness!
