FEB ski trip

Overall very good. There were 3 of us and my brother injured his left hip (severe bruise) at the end of 1st day which kind of put a damper on the trip. He spent most of the next 3 days just sitting / laying around in the condo. He never complained so as far as the unit there were no issues. The common area coin operated dryer didn't properly heat.

Winter in Breckenridge

My experience was all positive. The unit was clean and well-maintained; our mid-stay mini clean was well done; Hannah and Emily at Alpine Meadows were very responsive to our questions before and during our stay; and the weather was just what we wanted! We highly recommend the Blue Stag restaurant; excellent food and service. Be sure to shop at Marigold's Farmhouse. It's a wonderful store full of surprises!

The condo we rented was exactly what we expected. Plenty of space for a family of 5 & very well stocked with all the essentials. The location was fantastic as far as proximity to Main Street & the bus stop. The property was clean & obviously well maintained. The people in the management office were extremely helpful with any questions we had.

Alpenrose Review

This condo was as advertised...Clean...Not fancy but nice. The location is hard to beat...short walk to everything in Breckenridge. Great value!

Nice place and convenient

Condo is right on the corner of the bus line and easily walking distance to main Street for food at night. We got the first floor which was awesome! Not sure I'd appreciate hiking up and down metal stairs with ski boots though. The hot tubs are ok. Way better than nothing but leaves something to be desired. There are two four person tubs downstairs in the basement. They are indoors but you have to go outside and walk on metal grated stairs to get there so bring sandals. The temperatures aren't very accurate either. One feels like it heats up to about 5-10 degrees hotter than it says. The rooms are nice and the sleeper sofa is surprisingly comfortable. We had 4 people and it was good. 6 people would be doable but it would be tight because 2 people would be in the living room with nowhere to put clothes/bags. One person staying with us thought the pots and pans were bad but I just think he was used to using nonstick pans and these are stainless steel pans. Outside ski lockers are convenient but I personally like to bring my stuff inside to thaw and fix any edge or base problems. The instructions on the check-in sheet are worded in a way to nickel and dime you to death if you do things that they don't like but we didn't have any problems. We didn't move our car like they wanted because it's not realistic to ask someone to move their car to a temp lot and then come move it again in 3 hours when they are there to ski. Yes our car did get snow mounded up around it but that's no big deal in my mind.

Conveniently located near downtown shopping and eating, a grocery store and the slopes. We walked everywhere with ease. For the price (which was our initial reason for choosing Alpenrose), this unit definitely hit our expectations. Bedding was pretty bad-mattresses were fine-one flat pillow per person, old thin blankets, none to spare. Good thing it wasn't too cold during our stay! The condition of the unit and amenities otherwise were just fine. Would rent again.

Convenient and comfortable

Comfortable condo, with enough kitchenware to cook for ourselves. On the free bus route, very convenient for skiers. The hot tubs are indoors. Office staff were very responsive and helpful.

Clean and convenient. Not much of a view and you need to bring a comfortable pillow for sleeping. Great shower. Very easy walking access to town.

A WONDERFUL SKI VACATION!

The location is the best (the bus stop is right on the corner of the property). Very comfortable and clean. Breck is the best! We have already made plans to return next year!

Great place in Breck

It was a great vacation and a great place to stay. It was clean and very close to the resort and downtown. One thing that was a pain was having to move your car when it snowed. I guess it wasn't the worst though because we got to ski some freshies.

We appreciate your review. We do need cars to move to plow the lot for safety and also to allow for the maxiumum amount of cars since its only one space per unit.
